FaZe are the second team through to the playoffs at IEM Sydney after easing past OpTic 16-6 on Train.
Starting out on the CT side, OpTic drew first blood after denying FaZe's A push in the pistol round, with William "RUSH" Wierzba getting three kills. FaZe then did what they do best and hit back on a force buy, leaving the North Americans strapped for cash.
FaZe took control of the game and showed no signs of slowing down. OpTic's rounds in response were few and far between and they were held off any economic development, with the half ending in a 10-5 scoreline.

The European team further added to their lead by taking the pistol round and the corresponding anti-ecos. James "hazed" Cobb then gave OpTic fans some hope, denying Fabien "kioShiMa" Fiey the 1v3 clutch, but it was too little, too late, as FaZe took the next three rounds to seal a convincing 16-6 win.
